We offer presentations to assist in the teaching of local, state and US history, with particular emphasis on the American Civil War and life in the years of 1860-1865. These presentations may be used to begin, end or teach the content areas and state learning standards desired.Presenters are fully costumed and will bring objects that the students may handle. Presentation length and topic of focus can be varied to best meet the needs of the classroom or school populations. We are able to meet many Illinois State learning standards on the following subjects:
- Fashion (Mourning, Evening, Daytime, and/or Wedding)
- Etiquette
- Dance
- Home Life
- Customs (Mourning, Wedding, etc.)
- Nursing
